Meet our Team
Maarten Becx
School Principal
As a school principal, my mission is to ensure that every child receives the best possible education—regardless of their background, abilities, or needs. I believe success looks different for each student, and it's my responsibility to create a strong, supportive structure within the school that encourages growth, creativity, and academic excellence. At the same time, I actively search for the best external resources and opportunities to support both students and teachers, making sure our school is well-connected, well-equipped, and always focused on what matters most: the students.
Arianna Fraioli
Classroom Teacher/ Additional Support Needs Specialist
As a teacher, I strive to create an environment where every learner feels included, valued, and seen. As the ASN Specialist, I aim to ensure every child gets the support they need to thrive and develop to the best of their ability. By building positive relationships with pupils and listening to their needs, I work to implement any additional support required to help each learner feel comfortable and successful in school. I want to give all children a happy and safe environment to holistically develop and grow into confident individuals and successful and independent learners.
Nini Liu
Classroom Teacher/ Specialist Teacher in Art
As a classroom teacher, I want to build a joyful and inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, respected, and inspired. In addition, as an art specialist, I believe that creativity is a powerful way to express emotions and connect with the world. I think every child is an artist and every creation matters in the classroom. There’s no right or wrong in art, only the courage to be themselves.
This is how I hope to guide students through creativity, feeling, and imagination.
Josefa Rütter
Educational Support Specialist (focus on inclusion & parent counseling) / After-school program coordinator
As an Educational Support Specialist, I bring together all stakeholders who form the school community. My focus lies in providing individual guidance and creating barrier-free pathways that support everyone on their educational journey shaped by diverse lived experiences.
I strive to inspire a love of lifelong learning and see the after-school program as a space for participation, connection, and meaningful growth, beyond academic pressure, with joy at its heart.
Ilhan Ozdemir
English teacher and IT support
As a foreign language teacher, I believe that learning a new language is also learning a new way of thinking and seeing the world. I want my students to feel confident and curious when they use English. I will make sure to create a safe space where they can make mistakes, speak freely, and enjoy learning.
